This fundraiser is supporting Emergency Mutual Aid for 4 disabled women and their elderly mother fleeing abuse, racism, homophobia, harassment, planned death threats and death threats to our pets.

The women suffered extremely violent forms of racism by their neighbour, who was an employee of the building in which they resided.

They experienced multiple attacks on their rental property including having dog poop thrown onto the balcony, breaking the window, smashing the AC unit that was drilled to the second floor window sending it crashing inside. Screaming ongoing verbal threats late at night.

The women contacted police and the rental management for help and were dismissed, and put into more direct danger due to negligence. The women requested mangament to waive the rent and were instead sent threats of eviction.

Unfortunately, the window was unable to close after his breaking. The women had to flee their home of 5 years.

The funds will go directly for the following things:

Rent

Bills

Medications for the women and pets

Paying back costs to flee

Upcoming Dog Neuter

The women used the last of their collective funds to escape overnight.

There are currently no funds to help with the situation.

The women had to leave all belongings behind in their home and are working to safely donate items and move sentimental things from the apartment as soon as possible.

This is an urgent and emergency situation. The women do not have any aids and are suffering extreme CPTSD.
