Our bright, 7-year-old Ibrahim Uddin was full of life until January 14th, when our world collapsed. Ibrahim has been diagnosed with blood cancer (Leukemia).
Ibrahim is the heart of our family—a protective big brother to little Abdur Rahman Uddin. But while other children his age are in school, Ibrahim is now fighting for his life in a hospital bed.
Ibrahim’s parents are desperate. They live in Matizura, Sylhet, Bangladesh where specialized pediatric cancer care is not available. They have been forced to move Ibrahim to Dhaka for treatment, a grueling 6 to 7-hour journey that is physically draining for a child this sick.
His father and mother are struggling with no savings. They can barely put food on the table, let alone pay for chemotherapy, hospital stays, and life-saving medicine. They have nothing left.
Your Help is urgent
In Bangladesh, the cost of treating childhood leukemia can range from £3,000 to over £6,000 depending on complications. For Ibrahim's family this is an impossible mountain to climb.
Your donations will go directly toward:
Chemotherapy & Hospitalization: Covering the cycles of treatment in Dhaka.
Safe Transport: Ibrahim cannot take public buses due to his weakened immune system; he needs private transport for the 7-hour journey from Sylhet.
Medication & Testing: Regular blood work and essential drugs that must be purchased out-of-pocket.
Basic Survival: Ensuring little Abdur Rahman and his parents have a place to stay near the hospital in Dhaka.
Every pound counts. £10 can pay for a day of medicine. £50 can cover the transport to the hospital. Please, help us give Ibrahim the chance to grow up and play with his brother again.
