We are raising funds for a truly special person — a very good friend of ours who lives near Pristina, Kosovo, and fights every single day for the lives of stray dogs.
Three years ago, he gave up his life in London and moved to Kosovo — not for a job, not for comfort, but for one reason only: to help animals that most people ignore and that no one wants to save.
He built a large shelter area and cares for many dogs completely voluntarily.
He provides them with:
a safe place to live
daily food
medical care
protection from cold, hunger, and cruelty
and most importantly: love and dignity
But no matter how strong your heart is — at some point, it becomes too much.
The number of dogs is high, the need is endless, and the costs keep rising.
He does receive a small amount of support, but it is nowhere near enough to cover the long-term care for so many animals — let alone to take in more dogs and rescue them.
We want to support him because through his work, he also supports us:
Thanks to him, we are able to help more stray animals together — rescue them, provide care, arrange sterilizations, and give them a real chance at life.
What the donations are needed for
The funds are urgently needed for:
food (every day, for many dogs)
veterinary costs (treatments, medications, emergencies)
vaccinations and deworming
spay/neuter surgeries (to stop uncontrolled breeding)
repairs and improvements of the shelter area
safe space for new emergency rescues
Why this matters
In Kosovo, countless dogs still live on the streets. Many get sick, injured, abused, or die from hunger and cold.
This man doesn’t just rescue dogs —
he prevents suffering every single day.
With your help, he can:
continue caring for the animals he already has
take in more dogs in need
fund more sterilizations
and keep this life-saving concept going
Every donation — no matter how small — makes a difference.
And if you can’t donate right now: please share this fundraiser. That helps just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
For the dogs. For life. For hope.
