Hello, my name is Donnie, I’m 29 years old and I have 4 incredible children. Few short months ago I was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy in both my eyes. I went blind and had to have surgery that I only gained back about %50 of my eye sight in my right eye. A few weeks ago I found out my left eyes bleeding started to get worse. I followed every doctors order to try and prevent surgery in my left eye. Unfortunately, nothing worked. I will be having surgery September 3rd on my left eye. I have not been able to work since my left eye went blurry and my family and I are truly struggling. Last night my right eye went blurry as well. I was informed that I had cataract growing in it as it’s common to form from the type of surgery I had. I am completely blind now. All I see is blurry shapes. The last thing I ever want to do is ask for help from anyone. One of my goals in life is to help everyone else as much as I can. My family and I truly appreciate anything and everything anyone helps us with.
