EMERGENCY vehicle funds

ok, here goes.... craziness. I am still in shock at this. This is our Family vehicle, obviously, the only one I have because I am a single mother trying to get by on my own with my special needs son. His dad is not in the picture and does not help us financially. While I am a single mother, I am also a full-time student at Strayer University, pursuing my bachelor's in Business Finance, while working part-time to make ends meet. I live in a college town where work drops off every summer and does not pick back up until football season (when the Alumni travel back to town) Needless to say, my income to support my household and child is very limited at this point in my life. My vehicle recently was picked up to be towed to a shop to have some pricey repairs done to it. I talked to the dealership one morning and that evening they showed up to tow our Element for repairs. Let me also state, that I know many people are not Element fans, however, what happened to our Element were some of the common issues that occur, and maybe were neglected before I purchased the vehicle, so it fell on me to bring her back to par. This vehicle is a blessing to our lifestyle and perfect for this tiny family as we do spend a lot of time with our pups, our garden and outdoors all together. there is absolutely no drug use and to help cope with my child's special needs, outdoor activities are necessary. Also, he is starting school this week and he has weekly therapy sessions to help with his developmental delays. not having a vehicle is not an option, as well as already living on a tight budget, missing work is the worst thing that can happen to me. I was hit with an almost 8k bill from the dealership. while I was able to talk to them and get the price dropped some, I do have to pay the price of my vehicle off plus labor in full. All of our belongings are still in our vehicle also bc as far as I was aware, it would be back in a day or 2. Our current bill to receive our vehicle back is 7335. Prayers just don't help with that kind of money and I am helpless in this situation. So here I am, as a last resort, pleading to anyone for any help that may be afforded to us. Absolutely anything is appreciated and my gratitude can never express how thankful I am and will be. I don't know what else to say. that is the reason for this fundraiser in a nutshell. I am in a state of complete panic and despair.
