Emergencia sanitaria Madrid COVID-19

El objetivo de esta campaña es recaudar fondos para ayudar en la crisis del Coronavirus en Madrid donando material sanitario y/o haciendo aportaciones económicas para su compra. 

A través de la red de exalumnos de mi master tengo acceso a proveedores internacionales de material sanitario. Tras 2 semanas intentando trasladar estos contactos a órganos del gobierno central y autonómico sin éxito, mi marido y yo hemos decidido actuar por nuestra cuenta creando la iniciativa DesdeTuSofa. De momento, hemos comprado una primera tanda de material (120 monos de protección y 2,800 mascarillas FFP2/KN95). Pero necesitamos más fondos para seguir en esta lucha contra el COVID-19. ¿Nos ayudas?

Dedicaremos los fondos a los siguientes objetivos, en función de la cantidad recaudada:

·       Donaciones al hospital de campaña de IFEMA y otros hospitales: todavía hacen falta más EPIs (monos, gafas, mascarillas, guantes, batas). Compramos material en función de las necesidades concretas que nos trasladan los hospitales con los que contactamos

·       Donaciones a residencias de ancianos y entidades sin ánimo de lucro: los trabajadores de las residencias y asociaciones también necesitan material que no les está llegando

·       Aportación económica al Hospital de La Paz: estamos en contacto con el hospital y sus esfuerzos se están enfocando en comprar material hospitalario para ampliar la capacidad de la UCI (camas de UCI, camas de hospitalización, ecógrafos, desfibriladores, etc.). 

Empezaremos por la compra de material y si recaudamos más, seguiremos con aportación económica a La Paz, hasta donde lleguemos.

IMPORTANTE: Todo el dinero recaudado excepto la aportación de los donantes a la plataforma (voluntaria y de cuantía flexible) y la comisión de retirada de fondos de GoFundMe (2.9% del total recaudado) está destinado íntegramente a la compra de material. Nos estamos encargando de recibir la mercancía y entregarla personalmente para asegurarnos de que llega a los destinatarios.

The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to help in the Coronavirus crisis in Madrid by donating medical supplies and/or making financial contributions for their purchase.
 
I have access to international suppliers of medical equipment through my MBA alumni network. After 2 weeks trying to transfer these contacts to the central and regional government without any success, my husband and I have decided to act on our own. To date, we have made a first order (120 protective gowns and 2,800 FFP2/KN95 masks). But we need more funds to continue fighting COVID-19. Do you want to help?
 
We will dedicate the funds to the following objectives, depending on the amount raised:
 
·      Donations to IFEMA field hospital and other hospitals: they are in need of more protective gear such as masks, gowns, glasses and gloves. We buy material based on the specific needs of the contacted hospitals

·      Donations to nursing homes and non-profits: scarcity of material is also affecting social workers of these institutions that are not being prioritized

·      Financial contribution to the Hospital de La Paz: we are in contact with the hospital and its efforts are focused on purchasing hospital supplies to expand the ICU's capacity (ICU beds, ultrasound scanners, defibrillators, etc.).
 
We will start by purchasing material and if we raise more, we will continue with financial contributions to La Paz, as far as we can go.

IMPORTANT: All the funds raised excluding the donors' contribution to the platform (voluntary and flexible amount) and the GoFundMe withdrawal fee (2.9% of the total raised) are destined to the cause. We are receiving the goods and delivering them in person to ensure that they reach the recipients.
