Thank you for taking the time to open this and read! My name is Kimmie and I have been decorating and working in the bakery field for over 10 years, and this year I decided I was going to be in my own bakery. So Emerald Whisk was launched January 1st, 2020 as a bakery under the Texas Cottage Law. With the help of my loving mother she gave me my first donation to start and there was no turning back, and with my own marketing efforts I became more known through my community.
I was hesitant to start this campaign because I have always been independent, a hustler, and go-getter, working 2-3 jobs at a time! Due to the unforeseen coming of Covid-19 I have struggled a little with the ability to afford the products I need to continue giving the BEST to ever order and I am NOT about cutting corners! I have had to turn away orders because I just don't have the supplies or space! And with your help I believe I can make all those challenges go away!
What your funds will go to:
Bulk supplies, such as packaging materials, cookie cutters, cake supplies for both baking and decorating, ingredients, flavorings. Equipment that is needed, sheet pans, cannoli fryer, bins for bulk ingredients and a few other things I have been struggling to buy to better my business!
As of next week, 05-18, we solved our spacing dilemma by moving into a bigger area with lower rent cost/per sq ft, in our new town of New Braunfels, Texas. This will allow me to meet more demands of my new community while still being available to the clients and relationships I have made while being in Austin, Texas!
Other than my mothers help, I have been putting every paycheck from my two other jobs into Emerald Whisk and with Covid-19, those paychecks are less and less but Emerald isn't losing tractions just my ability to self-fund. That is why your support will help me in so many ways, allowing me to get my supplies, allowing me to continue serving my customers, and allowing me to provide them with celebration desserts during these challenging times.
We all need a little sweetness in our lives and I hope to bring that to my clients with your help!
