This GoFundMe is in dedication to the most selfless individuals I have met. Jenna and Matt Farley are emerging on a beautiful journey and will need extra blessings along the way. In her own words : Although I'm still uncertain of my comfort level on sharing because I still have weak moments, I wanted to give all those thinking of us and praying for us three an update on what's been going on since immediate family and close friends know. Monday we had our anatomy ultrasound for our little baby and we were told at this appt that our baby has gastroschisis. It is where our baby has a small hole in its abdominal wall because it didn't close all of the way while it was forming. This in turn causes some of the abdominal organs to grow and form outside of our baby's belly. We have met with some amazingly knowledgeable people and they give us tremendous hope that this is not as uncommon as we would think and they know exactly how to handle this situation. We are blessed that our baby currently only has its bowel including intestines on the outside and currently everything else is as it should be. Although at first we were completely devastated and heartbroken, we are staying positive and putting all our faith in God to get us through this scary time. We are so grateful and blessed for all the love, support, prayers, texts, calls and messages everyone has shared and given us! We are a strong team of 3, but we know we have an army with us and we can overcome this! I am 20 weeks tomorrow and our goal is to get to 37/38 weeks and for our little baby to grow on schedule during that time frame. Any hiccups in this plan can change our future drastically and instantly. Please continue to pray for us to make it to full growth and to continue to learn how to make it through this journey. We love you all so much and are so thankful to have everyone behind us three! -The Farley's-
