Emelia and Ellie's Marathon for MND
Emelia and I will be walking a marathon of 26.4 miles to Cambridge and back on the 20th of March to raise money for the Motor Neurones Disease Association, one which is very closely connected to me and my family.
MND is an uncommon rapidly progressing neurological disease. It attacks the nerves that control movement so that muscles no longer work. However, at the moment there is no successful treatment or cure.
In 2019 my mum was diagnosed with Motor neurone disease and has been fighting a battle against it ever since.
We want to show my mum love and support by completing this walk and showing her that there is always hope.
Every penny we raise will make a difference to people with MND and their families. We could contribute to funding for vital research to help scientists find a cure, and help support people living with MND now.
Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
