After several months of injuries, pain, and health scares, Erica Edwards has been diagnosed with a blood cancer named Multiple Myeloma. She is currently in the hospital in St. Louis, where she is receiving help with pain management and treatment for her spine, which has multiple fractures thanks to Myeloma. While there is no cure for this disease, there are therapies that can help improve her condition. She will undergo various chemotherapies and a stem cell transplant, guaranteeing at least another month's hospital stay later in her journey.
