On the 25th of February Rachel Ballard took her son Emari to the ER because in her gut something didn't seem right about the headaches he'd been having. The X-Ray came back showing a mass near the base of Emari's brain. Less than 48 hours later he underwent a 10 hour brain surgery to remove the tumor in Charlottesville Virginia. Good news! The surgery was a success and they were able to remove the tumor. However this is just the beginning of the road to recovery. Emari is doing amazing but the road ahead is still long.
This is where we come in. Rachel is currently off work without pay to stay with and take care of Emari. They haven't been able to give a time frame in which he will be able to leave the hospital so she is staying in a hotel connected to the hospital for the time being. Just that alone and having to eat at the hospital every night is taking a big chunk of her savings. Since Rachel is the only source of income & she also doesn't know what expenses she may have to pay out of pocket in addition to the bills she already has. 

All donations received will to go assisting Rachel Ballard with her expenses while she is off of work taking care of Emari. We all know how much Rachel is willing to sacrifice for her family. We know that she gives her all to her family and her community so now it's our turn to give back to her. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
