Emily is a 16 yr old  gay teen in Tyler, Texas who has been put in a mental institution by her parents against her will to ‘cure’ her of her love for an African American girl.  Next month Emily will turn 17 yrs old and will be able to emancipate herself from her parents and free herself from being imprisoned in a mental institution just for being gay and loving someone of another race. This fund will pay for her emancipation fund and legal costs.  Thank you.
