Hello,
My name is Patricia O'Keefe
i live near Windsor, Berkshire UK
I have successfully organised GoFundMe fundraiser campaign since June 2024 to help families in desperate need.
I am hoping to raise funds to help Bisan and Fadi Abdalrahman and their two young children Eman and Shakr
At present they live in a tent in Al Mawasi, by the sea
Bisan and Fadi are my family friends
The funds will be used to pay rent in a house in Deir Al Balah near to family
They require transportation to move their belongings.
They need blankets and warm winter clothing, especially for the children
I will transfer any donations from my Nationwide Bank in the UK to their Bank of Palestine plc account which they have a banking app for on their phone
I am hoping to raise funds to help Eman and Shakr find a room to shelter in during the icy cold winter months ahead in Gaza
Their home at present is by the sea in Al Mawasi camp.
It floods in the winter
They do not have warm winter clothes or warm beds unlike us, who take these bare necessities for granted
Shakr is desparate to start learning. He would be Grade 2, but sadly has been deprived of his education. He cannot read and his writing is very limited.
They live with their mother Bisan and father Fadi.
Fadi has been unwell and the children try to help as much as they can.
The war is not over for them yet, as daily life is a battle to survive.
