JUSTICE FOR BLAKE
The adorable little face your seeing in the pic above is Blake Sampson, my great great nephew. He is a best buddy to his grandpa and a perfect son for his daddy.
Tragically, this sweet, innocent fun loving little 2 year old boy was savagely beaten and bitten by a mean evil horrible person.
Blake now lies in a hospital bed on the ICU unit. He is in a chemically induced coma, has 6 different IV Drips, a drain tube in his head to reduce the swelling on his brain. Numerous cuts and bruises all over his body along with ADULT bite marks on his legs. At this point Blake has been in the hospital for 5 days with very little change. The doctors don't know what damage may have been caused by the blunt force beating as until the swelling goes down, those test cannot be completed.
They have informed his daddy (and family) that it could be weeks and even months before Blake leaves the hospital. Blake desperately needs his daddy and family by his side during this time but this cannot happen without financial help.
This is not a family who would want to ask for help, however I believe there are still good people in this world who would understand and would greatly appreciate the help if they were in the same shoes.
Therefore I am reaching out for them. Please, if you can, help me to help them stay together without the worry of work and mounting medical and living expenses. --- Even if it's only a few bucks it could possibly make a huge difference in the process of Blake's healing.
Evil comes in all sizes and forms. It does not have a certain face or look. This was a person who pretended to care and love little Blake. One whom was sadly trusted with his precious little life. This creep is now hiding out somewhere and claiming that this was all a freak accident. He can hide but not forever. God will see to that!!!
If you cannot help financially, we ask for and welcome all the prayers, good vibes and best wishes for our precious lil man, Blake.
God of endless love, ever caring, ever strong, always present, always just: You gave your only Son to save us by his blood on the cross. Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace, join to your own suffering the pain of all who have been hurt in body, mind, and spirit by those who betrayed the trust placed in them. Hear the cries of our children who have been gravely harmed, and the cries of those who love them. Soothe their restless hearts with hope, steady their shaken spirits with faith. Grant them justice for their cause, enlightened by your truth. Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts, heal your people’s wounds and transform brokenness into wholeness. Grant us the courage and wisdom, humility and grace, to act with justice. Breathe wisdom into our prayers and labors. Grant that all harmed by abuse may find peace in justice.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
