Elyssa Leininger Deductible & Valuable Replacement

In a Facebook post on 11/5/2020, The South Side Neighborhood Task Force shared a story of vandalism and theft for Elyssa Leininger and her mother's vehicles while painting the underpass along 6th Avenue in Billings. (If you haven't been by the underpass, you are missing out.)
Elyssa and her mother have been working on this project since August 1, and it is slated to finally be finished this weekend (November 8) before the snow hits. In order to accomplish this, they have both been painting by headlamp in the night. A couple nights ago when returning up the hill to their vehicles to gather some supplies, they notices that the front window on each vehicle was smashed out along with Elyssa's mom's purse (a Prada bag gifted to her from her son) with all IDs and credit cards. Unfortunately due to deductible, these items need to be paid for out of pocket. Elyssa and her mother are volunteers working to make the Billings' Community a brighter, safer space. It is disheartening to hear that while so many are so giving with their time and talents, other are out there causing havoc.
Let's show Elyssa and her mother that we all appreciate their efforts and support them for giving us all so much! The South Side Task Force has helped coordinate with me to get Elyssa and her mother the funds, I am merely a bystander hoping to show my gratitude for all the hard work put into this beautiful space!
Even if you can only give $5, any little bit will help!
