Help Elyssa get a Diabetic Service Dog

Hi, my name is Elyssa Belling, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. When I was two and a half years old, I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. This has challenged me throughout my life. High and low blood sugar can affect how I function on a day to day. The past two years, I have been working with Journey Together Service Dog who helps to train service dogs for PTSD and now, diabetes. I am finally at the stage of training to get placed with a service dog! When training is complete this dog will be able to sense when my blood sugar is dropping or increasing and alert me to it. This is extremely helpful as technology can fail and it helps to alleviate any worries, I may have of an unknown low blood sugar that could be detrimental Please consider donating or sharing to help!
