This November, I have a fantastic opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, PA, and Charlottesville, VA, with my 8th Grade class. It will be the first D.C. trip in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be a trip to remember for a lifetime. I will be able to stand where Civil Rights Activist Martin Luther King Jr. stood giving his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, discover the meaning of the sacrifice at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and explore many Smithsonian Museums like The National History Museum and the Air and Space Museum. For all of this to be possible, I would be so blessed with your donation to my cause. I am trying to raise $2,500 before August 31st!
