We have exciting news! Elyse was nominated by her principal to be a delegate at the Leadership Academy. Elyse’s nomination was based on her demonstrated academic ability, community involvement and leadership skills. Her nomination may also be in part due to her never missing a day of school and maintaining an all A honor roll throughout her academic career.
As a Leadership Academic delegate, Elyse would join other distinguished students statewide to travel to either Dallas,Austin,San Antonio or Houston for a week of leadership development and academic enrichment.
During this week long summer trip, Elyse will explore significant Texas sites with other high achieving students to help develop leadership skills, self-confidence, independence and gain an experience worthy of mention on her academic résumé.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated by our scholar for her participation in this extraordinary educational opportunity.
