On Thursday, November 8, 2018, in the early morning a fire broke out near the town of Paradise, California. It has quickly become the MOST devastating and destructive fire in California HISTORY.  Nearly the entire town is a loss. It is devastating. My sister's family lost nearly everything. They escaped each with one pair of shoes and barely more than the clothes on their backs. They also have an infant boy they are caring for.
They have to find a new home, and rebuild their lives. They will need cash for a deposit when they find a place, and first months rent at least. As well as being able to get clothes, food, toiletries, furniture, EVERYTHING we all have in our own homes. They also have some pets that need food and care.
