Our sweet 12-year-old nephew, Elwood, is about to undergo life-saving open heart surgery after being diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a serious heart condition that requires urgent intervention.

Elwood is a kind, funny, and courageous young boy who loves spending time outdoors, playing with his friends, and making people laugh. This diagnosis has turned his world—and his family’s—upside down. Now, he faces a major surgery and an extensive recovery process.

His devoted parents, Danielle and Lowell, are the kind of people who are always the first to lend a hand when someone is in need. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, volunteering for those less fortunate, or being there for family and friends, they give selflessly without hesitation. Now, it’s our turn to rally around them.

Both Danielle and Lowell will be taking time away from work to be by Elwood’s side during his surgery and recovery. This will be a long road for their family, both emotionally and financially. The funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses and helping cover lost wages so they can focus 100% on Elwood’s healing.
