Hi.. It is quite crazy how one day you can be perfectly fine and the next minute, you have a diagnosis of cancer, and then it goes from stage two to stage three in one moment under the microscope, after major surgery, 3 1/2 years ago, I had 10 polyps removed during a colonoscopy, one was the size of a quarter and half of it was malignant. They scraped all of those away, I did routine colonoscopies every six months… Fast-forward, August 2024. I had three new polyps one was questionable but was not malignant at the time. They removed all three. Fast-forward February 2025 routine colonoscopy and they found a 2.5 cm mass in my colon. It was stage two after surgically removing it and also taking 25 lymph nodes, it was considered stage 3 because it metastasized to a lymph node. April 9, major surgery, 13 inches of colon and sigmoid removal and 25 lymph nodes removed, June 2 chemo started. I lost about half of my clients, as I am a personal fitness coach by trade, so half of my income. I am working a little bit, to the best of my ability with the clients I do have and I’m very grateful.
this fundraiser will help for sure.
Love and blessings… Elvia.
