Hi, everyone. This is Elva's daughter, Chelsea. I am setting this up because my mom is currently in Critical Care and the doctors are not sure what is causing her health issues.

Her and I were on vacation in New York and upon returning, the moment she walked in my front door, she passed out. Her heart stopped, she wasn't breathing. This was Sunday around 5pm. She was sent via helicopter to Mayo in Eau Claire where she was for over 12 hours before being flown to Rochester.

Nothing led up to the moment she collapsed. She was fine until she wasn't. She is sedated and intubated. They are running many tests and trying medications to see what works best for her.

We are already getting bills sent to us from this incident and, we don't know for sure, but Mayo might be out of her insurance network (but it's the best place for her and where we wanted her to get care).

In addition to medical bills, my dad (and whoever stays with him) will need to stay at a local motel which will add up cost-wise as they are saying she could be here a month or more, depending on what they find.

When she pulls through this (please send us thoughts and prayers), she will be out of work for a while while she recovers.
