Yesterday afternoon was a typical Friday for Elsy and I, visiting our local park. Once we parked, Elsy jumped out of the truck and out of excitement landed wrong on her leg.

As soon as I heard her wail in pain I saw her leg loosely dangling. Within a split second everything changed.

I rushed her to an emergency pet hospital where they gave her pain medication and took X-rays of her leg. The X-rays showed that her back right leg was shattered in three different places .

Elsy is a 4 year old German Shepherd that loves to run, hike, visit the dog park/beach, and camp. She is a very active healthy girl ,has been since she was a puppy. It’s very heartbreaking for our family to see her like this.

Due to her multiple femur fractures Elsy will need surgery. Surgery, as you know, is expensive which is why I am here humbly/desperately asking for your help. Any donation towards her surgery is helpful and greatly appreciated.
