Elsie’s Knight in Shining Armour
On 17th May I’m doing to Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge whilst carrying the weight of the transfer pod and equipment that kept my little girl alive.
On the 2nd October I became the proud father of my little girl Elsie, born 6 weeks early.
Just days later, tragedy struck as we realised she was very poorly.
Through the night we had to be blue lighted from Preston Hospital to Manchester St Mary’s.
The crew of the St John’s ambulance came to our aid and kept our little girl stable and comfortable in a time when we were terrified.
The care, compassion and professionalism shown by the St John’s team was second to none.
They were our knight in shining armour.
The cost of this service was £447.
I want to raise this amount so another family, when the time comes, can have their knight in shining armour.
Any donations, no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated
