Elsa's Mom, our dear Armida, Needs Our Help Now!

Hi, my name is Coyo and Elsa is my sister by choice. This means that Elsa’s wonderful, loving and caring mom, Armida, is stuck with me as an extra daughter :).

If you know Elsa and her mom, you know that they are always ready to feed you, cloth you, cover you in kisses and hugs, and welcome you in their home at any time of day - or night. <3

Today, Elsa and Mami Armida need our help and I am hoping we can support them during this time.

Mami Armida suffers from a degenerative condition that is affecting the nerves and bones from her mid-spine all the way to her neck, pushing into the bone marrow. In order to prevent her from becoming paralyzed, she has to have a very costly surgery that needs to happen immediately. Mami Armida is in great pain and some days she can hardly move.

Asking for financial help is never easy, but sometimes, like now, it is necessary. So I am asking on their behalf. Elsa has secured a great doctor in Mexico to perform the surgeries that her mom will need, but has to come up with at least $35,000 to pay for it. The longer they wait, the worse the pain and the condition gets, and the risk for Mami Armida of falling and getting hurt increases as well.

I am asking for all her friends and family…please make a donation, no matter how small, to help them reach their goal and get Mami Armida the surgery she needs, ASAP. If you can't donate, sharing this fundraising with friends and family also helps. Last but not least, you know Armida and her family are people of great faith - so your thoughts and prayers are welcomed and appreciated as well.

Hola, mi nombre es Coyo y Elsa es mi hermana por elección. Esto significa que la maravillosa, amorosa y dulce mami de Elsa, Armida, se queda conmigo como una hija extra :).

Si conocen a Elsa y a su mamá, sabrán que siempre están listas para alimentarte, vestirte, cubrirte de besos y abrazos y recibirte en su casa con los brazos abiertos y una gran sonrisa, a cualquier hora del día o de la noche.

Hoy, Elsa y Mami Armida necesitan de nuestra ayuda y espero que podamos apoyarlas tanto como ellas han apoyado y ayudado a mucha gente en el transcurso de su vida.

Mami Armida sufre de una condición degenerativa que afecta los nervios y los huesos desde la parte media de la columna hasta el cuello, empujando hacia la médula ósea. Para evitar que quede paralizada, tiene que someterse a un par de cirugías muy costosas que deben realizarse de inmediato. Tiene mucho dolor y algunos días apenas puede moverse.

Pedir ayuda económica nunca es fácil, pero a veces, como ahora, es necesario. Por eso, hoy les pido su apoyo.

Elsa ha conseguido un excelente médico en México para realizar las cirugías que su mami necesitará, pero tiene que reunir por lo menos $35.000 dólares para pagarlas. Cuanto más esperan, peor es el dolor y la afección, y también aumenta el riesgo de que Mami Armida se caiga y se lastime y quede paralizada.

Amigos y familiares, les pido de corazón que hagan una donación, por pequeña que sea, para ayudarlos a alcanzar su objetivo y conseguirle a Mami Armida la cirugía que necesita lo antes posible. Si no pueden donar, también ayuda compartir esta recaudación de fondos con amigos y familiares.
