This week one of our team members suffered through a devastating event. On Sunday Dec. 6, 2020 Elsa and her daughter were awoken by neighbors alerting them that their house was on fire. They were able to escape the fire but not able to save their home. Half of the house was destroyed.

Elsa has been a part of our pharmacy team at Yuma Regional Medical Center for 7 years. We are all tired and exhausted working through this pandemic. When we found out one of our team members lost their home, it devastated us. Our hearts hurt along with Elsa’s. She is an amazing, selfless individual who would give you her last cent. She never complains about struggles or life hurdles. Elsa still remains positive even through the toughest of times. This is why we are reaching out to help one of our own.

Elsa will need extensive repairs on her home in order to make it livable. They lost so many of their belongings in this tragic fire. Even through all this, her faith remains unshaken.  She believes that everything will be ok. We know this is a tough time for everyone. Please help us help Elsa by donating to the GoFundMe page .
