Elsa's Carnegie Hall Performance!

We are happy to announce that Elsa has been selected as a Junior Finalist for the Honors Performance Series in Carnegie Hall! She will spend four days in June in New York City preparing for the Honors performance while making new friends from around the country and the world!
Elsa has been playing violin since she was six years old and has built a life-long love and committment for the instrument. She plays for KC Simba-Torres at the Simba School of Music, The Fresno Youth Orchestra, and the Baird Middle School Advanced Orchestra. Elsa has performed in many solo and state festivals, earning Superior Ratings, as well as the FMCMEA Honor Orchestra since she was 6 years old. Elsa has traveled extensively with the Simba School of Music to study violin and participate in performances in LA and San Francisco as part of the SSM music study trips. She also attends an annual Suzuki Institute near Portland, Oregon where she studies for a week with talented music teachers from around the country.
Elsa is looking to raise the needed funds to help her reach her Carnegie goal of $2,300 which includes entrance into the program, many amazing tours (including sight-seeing, a Broadway performance, and many other exciting New York activities), as well as airfare.
Program Fees: $1,899
Includes: All sheet music, tours of NY, a Broadway show and lodging.

Elsa is hoping to raise funds through GoFund Me in addition to participating in fundraising gigs, working as a mother's helper and pet sitter to offset some of her costs.
