On November 28th, at about 12:40 pm, my baby Elsa was hit by a car that fled the scene. She is suffering from a completely broken right leg, fractured and bruised ribs, and bruising on her liver. Elsa now urgently needs a 3-hour surgery by a bone specialist, along with follow-up care so she can return to her original quality of life.

Right now, she’s on heavy daily pain medication, unable to get up or walk on her own, and needs around-the-clock monitoring. Seeing my loving, cuddly, full-of-personality baby girl in this condition has been incredibly heartbreaking. Despite her confusion and being unable to walk, Elsa has still managed to keep her sassy little smile on her face, reminding me of what a brave and strong girl she is.
