Elsa the Turtle's Medical Treatment.

Hello. I never usually ask for help but I'm in a really tough spot. I noticed that my turtle Elsa had some red spots on her skin and her mouth was pretty pale. Elsa had to be taken to the vet to which I was told that she was very anemic and weak. The toughest part is that she might not even survive the night and even if that's the case, it's a long road to recovery that even I don't want to put that much stress on her...(You know where this is going...) This was my first time ever taking her to the vet and her bill for being seen and put through the examination is very high since the exotics team specialists had to look at her. I'm really just asking for some help because this is really hard on me and I've had her for 10 years and to see her in such shape and hear what actually is happening from the doctor is very upsetting and I'm at a loss. Apparently turtles are very good at hiding their illnesses until it's kind of too late and you see the visible signs. She was apparently like this for months before the visible signs kicked in. Just be sure to monitor your turtles daily if you do have one. They really are stubborn, like my baby, Elsa. Thank you for the help.
