Help Lay Quincy and His Daughter to Rest & Support Their Family

Our hearts are shattered as we share the unimaginable loss of Quincy Polk and his beloved 8-year-old daughter.

Quincy was a devoted father, fiancé, and friend. His family meant everything to him. He recently earned his CDL and was proud to finally provide the stability and future he dreamed of for his children. He worked hard every day to be the best man and father he could be.

On November 22nd, everything changed in a moment of senseless violence. After a minor traffic incident, an angry driver followed Quincy and his family into a Lowe’s parking lot. What should have ended as a simple exchange escalated when the man retrieved a firearm and opened fire into their vehicle. Quincy and his sweet daughter were both fatally wounded, leaving their family devastated and forever changed.

No family should ever have to endure this pain—emotionally or financially.

Today, we are asking for help to give Quincy and his daughter the proper and dignified burial they deserve. In addition to funeral expenses, their mother is recovering from serious injuries sustained during the incident. She now faces a long and difficult healing process while caring for their two remaining young girls, who are grieving the loss of their father and sister.

Additional funding will be needed to support her recovery, medical expenses, and to help provide stability and care for the girls during this heartbreaking transition.
