Eloy embodied the love of Christ and his love for people was evident. He made his life transparent and heart available to all, which drew everyone to him. He gently and authentically disarmed the toughest of souls, and sincerely poured humor, genuine love, and compassion into every relationship. During one of our deep discussions, we promised each other to look out for our spouses if something should ever happen to one of us.
