Elowyn's early arrival

Hello Friends!!

As most of you know by now, Christan came down to Florida from North Carolina 7/8 for a baby shower with friends and family on July 10th. The baby shower never happened - Christan was admitted to The Baby Place via Bayfront ER on Saturday 7/9 with preeclampsia. Unable to keep Christan's BP in a safe range consistently over the next several days, the doctors warned her on Tuesday that it looked like baby girl would be here within the next 48 hours. Matt drove down overnight, and was here only a few hours before they took the baby via c-section. Elowyn Rose Freudenberg was born on Wednesday, July 13th at 12:56 pm weighing 3.7 lbs!! So far, she's exceeded all expectations despite coming 9 weeks early. <3

With little Elowyn coming so early and so far away from home - the additional expenses from the quickly accumulating medical bills, travel, and much more time off work for mom than anticipated are weighing heavily on Matt and Christan. I'm setting up this fund to try and alleviate some of that stress - with help from those who can contribute.

We are all eternally grateful for the love and support through these past few weeks!!
