On January 15, 2019 our mother was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). An extremely rare and degenerative, fatal brain disease that affects one in a million people every year. Eloisa was robbed of life. This disease rapidly progressed and within a month she was robbed of her memories, speech, mobility, and vision. This disease has no cure nor treatment and not much is known about it due to it’s rarity. However, my mother fell victim to this horrendous disease.
On January 25, 2019 our mother earned her wings and flew to heaven. At 58 years old Eloisa succumbed to this fatal disease and left this Earth with so many wishes and plans for the future. She had endured so much in her life and had so much more to live. From living a life as an immigrant young woman to a house wife and then mother. She taught us so many lessons and became the rock and foundation of our family even after our dad passed away. She was loving, caring, and strong. She will always be remembered as putting others before herself and pouring every bit of her heart and soul in everything she did. We are in need of some help and anything can help and is appreciated to allow us, her only three children to give my mother a proper burial and memorial service. Thank you!

En Enero 15, 2019 nuestra madre Eloisa Guerrero fue diagnosticada con Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). Esta enfermedad produce un deterioro cognitivo, motor y psiquiátrico irreversible. Y porque es una enfermedad muy rara que afecta 1 de 1 un million de personas al año esta enfermedad no tiene tratamiento ni cura. Esta enfermedad le arrebato la vida a nuestra madre. Y en lo que fue un mes le robo la memoria, el motor físico, el lenguaje, y su vida.
En Enero 25, 2019 nuestra madre falleció. Con solo 58 años de edad esta enfermedad se apodero de la vida de ella. Eloisa se quedo con muchos planes y deseos para el futuro. Como madre ella nos enseño mucho con su sabiduría y consejos. Ella era la cabeza de nuestro hogar, era una madre ejemplar, trabajadora, fuerte, amorosa y cariñosa que primero se quitaba la comida de la boca para darle de comer a sus hijos. Y siguió luchando y nos ayudo para salir adelanté aún despues que fallecio nuestro padre. Y por eso siempre la recordaremos por dejar un pedacito de su corazón en todo lo que hacia y a quien conocía. Estamos pidiendo ayuda y con lo que sea nos ayudaría y les agradeceríamos para darle su entierro apropiado y servicios funerarios. Muchas gracias.
