Elo Diogo’s fight against cancer - please donate

Hi, my name is Emma, I’m 12 years old and I’m fundraising for my Nana. I have a loving family and today I’m asking for your help to keep it that way. My Nana has a brain tumor called Carcinoma. She has been fighting this cancer for years. Unfortunately, she can no longer afford her treatment and I would hate to see her loose this battle because of money.

My Nana is the strongest person that I have met. She is a fighter and I can’t let her give up now. She is such a humble and modest person that she would never ask for anything. Always putting others needs before herself. Please I ask you today to donate anything you can. Every pound you donate helps please.

My Nana lives in Spain and I’m in England so I can’t see her as much as I like. I hate that I can’t soothe her when she’s in pain or hug her when she has had a bad day. I know I won’t be able to see her face to face but we always FaceTime and chat every night. I just want to keep on talking to her, but if she stops her treatment this horrible cancer is going to take over her life.

My Nana can’t come to England. If she goes on an airplane she could die because of the tumor in her brain. For years and years, I’ve gone to Spain to visit her. When I was little, one year I went to Spain to see my family for my birthday. I went to my Nana’s house and stayed there for a few days. The time I spent there was the best time I have had. I was playing with my Nana and we were all having fun.

I don’t want my nana to die or to let the cancer take over her because of money. So please, I ask you please donate what you can. To help me save the most wonderful person I have met, the person who helps me and my family all the time no matter how much pain she’s in. Always there for us and ready to share her love and advice.

P.S. My Nana’s treatment is from Germany because Spain said that there was nothing else that they could do.

Each course of medication cost 450€ and at the moment she is having to have 3 per month.

Then they must run tests to see how her cancer is reacting to the treatment which cost just under 2,000€ each time. This helps adjust her medication each month.
