ELNOR Fundraiser: Bringing Education to Refugees

At ELNOR, we are raising money to continue and expand educational services that we offer to people living in the Greek refugee camp of Moria (now which has been relocated to other parts of Lesbos after the September 2020 fire). We are hoping to expand our pilot program to more users, and will need some initial funding to get us on our way.
ELNOR is an edtech startup that provides English learning materials and 1:1 tutoring to adults living in refugee camps, with the goal to educate and empower refugees. We believe that language and education are pillars of sustainable resettlement and integration. Based on field research with volunteers at refugee camps across Europe, we found a dire need to bring these life changing educational services to refugees looking to learn English.
Donations will go to covering the costs of an educational platform (App/Website for users), providing users with SIM cards and data plans, supporting other direct-relief work in Moria (such as food, clothes, etc.), applying for 501c3 status/fiscal sponsorship, and maintaining operations of the program.
