Hello, my name is Gayle. I have worked at Oakcrest Towers with Elmer Sorto for more than five years. I am fundraising for Elmer Sorto, Maieda Sorto, and their children.

In February 2022, Elmer was diagnosed with Stage 3 throat cancer. Elmer and his doctors immediately began an aggressive treatment, including multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. Elmer has not worked since his diagnosis, and Maieda is currently not working while tending to Elmer and their two children, ages 5 & 10. Raising a family while going through this treatment is very expensive and stressful. Elmer and Maieda need help to keep their heads above water while Elmer goes through this intense and challenging treatment.
