Monday morning Elmers life took a turn for the worst.... We got a phone call that Dad was at the hospital and that he was verry sick.. It was cancer and had had it for a while and kept it to himself.... He did not want any of his family members to worry about him and he was in a terminal state and wanted to go peacefully! Dad passed away around 1am this morning surrounded by all his loved ones verry peacefully!! We all already miss him so much..things are just not going to be the same!

Most of you know Elmer was a Vietnam vet....he proudly served his country for 4 years then he was honorably discharged! Medals and commendations included,
National Defense Service Medal,
Good Conduct Medal, Letter of Commendation, Rifle Expert Badge, Sharpshooter Badge,Marine of the Month, Vietnam Service Medal and much more!
Besides his service to our country Elmer (AL) was a great father, friend, husband, brother and more....he has defiantly left a mark on alot of lives that will never forget him! We just love him so much and want to provide him with the service's he deserves! The VA is paying for his burial at Fort snelling which we are so grateful for but the family has to come up with rhe money for the funneral home arranhements and is asking for any help and donations you might feel led to give to help cover the funneral! The total for all ELMERS arrangements is right around $9,000 and anything helps!
