Elm Arts Company Representing England at The Dance World Cup

I’m reaching out on behalf of Elm Arts Company, a dance school based in Failsworth, Manchester. I’m here with a heartfelt request for help that, frankly, we never thought we’d have to make.

Why:

We have a group of 43 incredibly talented young dancers who have been given the incredible opportunity to represent England at the Dance World Cup Finals in Spain, July 2025. For many of these dancers, this will be their first time abroad, their first time on a plane, and their first chance to compete on a world stage. Many of them come from working-class families who simply can’t afford the high costs of travel, accommodation, and costumes. Without help, these children may miss out on an experience that could change their lives forever.

High-Profile Children with Big Dreams:

Our dancers are not just passionate about what they do—they’ve already made waves in the professional world. We have high-profile children who have appeared in major productions and TV shows. Just to mention a few you'll know us from the Pixiebells of BGT, the young Robbie Williams in the new movie The Better Man, and of course the young Elphaba and Curious Munchkin in the fantastic movie Wicked.

These children dream big, and work hard but we need your help!

To help us on our way to represent England and put on the show we know will be incredible we are asking for donations no matter how big or small.

As the supermarket says.. every little helps :-)

These are the costs we are hoping to cover

• Dance 1: Bruce (18 dancers) – £1,900 for costumes and props

• Dance 2: Solidarity (30 dancers) – £3,500 for costumes and props

• Dance 3: Emerald City (19 dancers) – £3,350 for costumes and props

• Kit - £100 per dancer

• Flights - £500 return for each child

• Accommodation - £750 for each child

• Transfers - £100 for each child

We are offering sponsorship opportunities which come with benefits for businesses, small and large:

• Gold Sponsorship – £10,000:

Your company will be the main sponsor for the entire trip, with exclusive branding on all costumes, props, and team kits.

You’ll receive prominent coverage on our social media channels, special acknowledgment at events, and exclusive tickets to our future shows. Additionally, we will work with our local press contacts to create a feature story in a major publication or newspaper, highlighting your support of these talented children from Manchester.

• Platinum Sponsorship – £5,000:

Your company will be featured as a key sponsor for the trip, with recognition on our costumes, props, and team kit. You will also receive shout-outs on our social media and tickets to future performances.

• Bronze Sponsorship – £1,000:

Your company will be acknowledged as a supporter of the trip, with your logo on our team kit and mentions on our social media. You will also receive complimentary tickets to our upcoming shows.
