I’m raising money to benefit Samaritans in memory of my mum, who took her own life in September 2025 and is much missed.

Samaritans is a U.K.-based charity providing confidential, non-judgmental emotional support to anyone struggling to cope, feeling in distress, or thinking about suicide.

Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Samaritans offers listening services by phone, email, and, in many local branches, face-to-face drop-in sessions. Their volunteers are trained to listen, reflect, and help callers explore their own feelings and options — they don’t give advice or impose solutions.
