Ellis’ Future is in Our Hands
Donation protected
As Ellis Nickerson rode his bike to school on Friday, December 2, 2022, he thought the day was just like any other. By 4:00 PM, Ellis had learned that his non-biological mother had unexpectedly passed away. To help Ellis process this grief, we're asking the community to help us provide a year's worth of wraparound services at no cost to his biological mother, and our sorority sister.
Ellis is an A student in the Solon School District. He enjoys science, math, and Rubric cubes. In addition to football, he simply cannot get enough of the great outdoors.
Amid winter and following the conclusion of the football season, it's imperative we provide Ellis with the services and support he needs. This is a change that no child should have to endure alone.
Wraparound services can begin as soon as funds are available.
These funds raised would support the following services:
- Ongoing counseling services twice each month with his licensed therapist.
- Eight sessions per month of personal football training to help Ellis manage his physical and emotional grief via a healthy avenue.
- Ensure Ellis can receive holistic healing services each month to manage his spiritual needs.
- Additional funds available if his current therapist recommends additional classes, support groups, or specialized therapies
During such a difficult and formative time in Ellis' life, we need your help to raise the funds he needs.
It will be Ellis' 12th birthday next month! To make it THROUGH this valley moment, he needs to know he has many standing by his side.
