The OMRA (Oregon Motorcycle Riders Association) along with other clubs and riders in the sport and community are trying to raise money to help replace Ellis Cookman's stolen Motorcycle.
Ellis's dirt bike a 2018 Beta 300RR was stolen out of the back of his pickup truck from a Denny's parking lot on January 1st of this year. Ellis's bike was paid for yet unfortunately was not covered under insurance.
Ellis 63 years young, is close to retirement, and buying/replacing a new dirt bike is not part of his financial plans for the foreseeable future.
So this is where we need your help! We do not want Ellis to have to wait years to replace his bike, and not be able to enjoy one of his life's passions. If you do not know Ellis, He is the "bearded guy in the cowboy hat" who always stands up in the riders meetings to give a Prayer for all of us. Ellis is the guy who is always walking around the pits with a giant smile on his face, he is always giving out handshakes and "Howdy" always with a positive attitude. He is the guy who will go up to a stranger or new racer and welcome them, he is always open to chat, lend a friendly ear, or helping hand. He is a truly selfless individual.
Ellis Cookman has touched so many lives over the years in the Oregon riding community.
Now is our chance to give something back to him!!
Help us, Help Ellis...
God Bless
