Hi, my name is connor and im fundraising for my best buddy Ellis who has recently been diagnosed with a rare type of lymphoma. About a year ago he noticed a lump in his neck and went to seek expert medical advice from his GP, he was supposed to be referred to the hospital for further testing due to concerns regarding the lump, but unfortunately this was not followed up because of a communication error with the NHS at fault. With his symptoms becoming more severe some of which are: extreme weight loss, fatigue, drenching night sweats, and nausea, due to these ellis went back to the GP and this is when things became more serious and he got referred to specialist teams. In the last couple of months Ellis has been undergoing blood tests and various scans which has determined that he does infact have a rare type of lymphoma, throughout the last 10 months he has lost over 8 stone and is currently staying at Nottingham Queens Med after being fast tracked because of the worsening symptoms, not eating at all, and daily vomiting. Scans done today (10/07/26) show more lumps located in his lymphnodes, he is due to have his picc line fitted over the coming days to undergo chemo and radiotherapy if doctors can determine if he is strong enough to do so. Anybody that knows Ellis knows he is an outgoing, charismatic, happy go lucky, funny, loving, and kind lad and nobody could think of a worse person to be going through this. Having just finished his GCSE's with plans to work over the summer and start college in the coming months, this diagnosis has been a major setback which is why I want to raise as much money as possible to negate this setback. I'm going to be doing 6000 pushups throughout August as a challenge to help raise as much as possible for my mate. Every donation of any amount will be hugely appreciated.

Edit: (19/07/26) Today 'daddy T' has helped shaved ellis' hair after he decided to take matters into his own hands as his condition has worsened and hair loss was inevitable. Last Wednesday PET scans and MRI's have shown that the hodgkins lymphoma has mutated into an aggressive type of non-hodgkins lymphoma (stage 4) and has spread to his spleen, liver, bones, spine, and even his skull. Chemo and steroid cycles have started and ellis is receiving the most intense treatment available to attempt to fight the cancer, with all your support ellis recently bought a VR headset to pass the monotonous hours of treatment he is dealing with.
