Elliott’s fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
My nephew Elliott was diagnosed with B cell lymphoblastic leukemia on Saturday 7/6/2019.
He had surgery to have a port put in on 7/7/2019 and received his first dose of chemo the same night. Unfortunately the port stopped working early the next morning and we received the awful news that he would have to be intubated again so that the procedure to put a new port in could be performed
They live in Wabash, IN but are currently receiving treatment at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis where they are driving back and forth from. Elliott just turned 5 in March and was supposed to be starting kindergarten next in August. He is the happiest little boy and despite everything that he’s been through thus far, still manages to keep a smile on his face. My heart is breaking for them.
This campaign is to raise money for any medical expenses that they may have throughout Elliott’s treatment. The treatment for this type of leukemia is 3 years but every child’s journey is different as far as hospitalizations for complications that may arise.
Both mom and dad are back to work while still trying to care for Elliott but must take time off for his many treatments and trips to Riley. I have attached the care bridge site below if you are interested in following Elliott’s progress.
You can also donate through Zelle if you prefer to avoid GoFundMe.
