Elliott_Interrupted

Elliott is a kind and caring 13 year old. He likes to do what other 13 year olds like to do- spend time with friends and family, play video games, discover new music...He doesn’t deserve leukemia, but that is what he is having to deal with. Elliott is my son’s good friend and he and his family; Keri, Kirk and Cameron, can use some community love and donations to help them through this tough time. 

In February 2021 a visit to the pediatrician for looking pale, having dark circles under his eyes, complaining of dizziness and having symptoms of anemia, turned into an AML leukemia diagnosis. Within a week a picc line was surgically installed and he started chemotherapy. The path forward involves more chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Currently they are working to get his white blood cell count up so he can go home for a bit between treatments. He has a bit of a journey ahead of him as Leukemia treatment can last up to a year or more. To add to these events, within the last year, the pandemic affecting all our lives had closed or and currently restricts his mom and step-dad’s dream business which they opened just weeks before the shut down. With these challenges Elliott’s mom is taking days off to stay with Elliott at the hospital whenever she can.

Please donate so this West Seattle family so they do not need to worry about one more thing during this trying time. They truly are people that are thoughtful towards their neighbors, their community and to strangers.  They deserve great things. Let’s help give them something great -hope, love, prayers and a safety net for their needs.
