Elliott Needs Your Prayers and Support

Donation protected
My brother, a son, an uncle, a brother-in-law, and friend to so many, Elliott Wall suffered a major asthma attack on November 27 (the night before Thanksgiving). This led to cardiac arrest.

After CPR was performed by my father, then King Fire Department and Stokes County EMS, his heart started beating again. We estimate he went without oxygen to his brain for 10+ minutes.

Elliott remains in Forsyth Hospital ICU (Novant Health) in Winston-Salem, NC.

After evaluation from Neurology, they advised us he has severe brain damage. With that, he also is still healthy as far as organs go. He even will breathe above the ventilator at times!

As we respect the doctors' and medical professionals' opinions and prognosis, we also still remain faithful to God. He has control. He reigns supreme above all others. Humans nor machines ultimately dictate what happens to Elliott. Our God will do that.

So, many of you have been so gracious with prayers, visits, texts, calls, etc. For that, we are forever grateful.

We ultimately realize without hesitation that prayer is what he needs most. However, there are all the other "things" that will need attention. The extended hospital stay and all the things that come along with that.

He is a "tough it out" guy with an extremely smart and extraordinary determination for life. He absolutely adores his nieces, who have truly become the love of his life...his reason to live.

So, as many of you ask "how may I help", I first say this...PRAY. Prayer is more important than anything. I also want to give you the chance to use this platform to show your love and support for him as we navigate these uncertain and difficult days ahead.

We certainly are not giving up on our boy. God is in control, and He is good, all the time.
