Elliott Family Tragedy Fundraiser

On May 4th, Dr. Madalyn Elliot's life was tragically cut short in a devastating car accident that also claimed the lives of her parents and boyfriend. As we mourn this unimaginable loss, we come together to support those she leaves behind.

Dr. Elliott was a third-year Internal Medicine resident at MercyOne Medical Center, where she was known for her compassion, dedication, and extraordinary kindness. Her patients and colleagues remember her as a truly caring physician, a humble and gentle soul who treated every person with dignity and respect.

The Elliot family was full of hope and dreams. During an eventful weekend, no one would have guessed it would be their last together. Above all, Maddy loved her family. She was a proud aunt to her two nieces, whom she adored deeply. She cherished her role in their lives and spoke of them often with immense love and pride. She is survived by her sister and her two nieces, who are now facing this heartbreaking loss.

Maddy provided everyone around her with a powerful spark of energy. Previously, she was a skilled engineer who decided to further her career and pursue medical school. She then matched into residency, where she envisioned how she wanted her future to look like. Maddy was looking forward to graduating this year and was excited to provide her patients with optimal experiences.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Madalyn’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, and to support her sister and nieces as they begin to navigate life without her.
