Elliot Drees

Hello, my name is Kathryn and I am fundraising on behalf of the Drees family. On November 6th, Sherie, Dustin, & their son Avery suffered an unimaginable loss when their beloved son & twin brother, Elliot (15), died.

Elliot was a gifted and talented artist. His vast imagination saw beauty in everything, even objects that other people discarded. Elliot's many sketchbooks were filled with drawings that he often shared with friends and family. Elliot's mother, Sherie, an artist herself, described Elliot as having the natural talent and creativity to be one of the best artists in the world. We will cherish his art to honor his memory.

Elliot gave his friends and family so many gifts during his life. He was a kind and sensitive soul, always looking for ways to connect with others and ensure that everyone was included. Above all, Elliot loved deeply. He cherished spending time with his friends and family, creating special moments with deep conversations. Elliot made his friends feel seen and loved and will be missed by so many.

To know Elliot was to love Elliot. He was the light of his family and friends. This was evident as hundreds gathered on November 9th for Elliot's memorial service.
