Ellie's Rare Lung Disease Needs Your Support

A couple weeks ago Ellie had a CT scan done to look at her airways better concerning the pectus. When her doctors looked at it they accidentally came across scar tissue on her lungs. They told her dad and I that she has developed a progressive lung disease that will eventually end in lung failure, due to the chemo she received during her bone marrow transplant. Her body healed that way and is extremely rare that this would happen. They told us the news that there is no "cure" for this and the only thing that could possibly help her would be a lung transplant.

This process is an unknown time of when this will happen or how long we're going to be in Cincinnati for this. We are still waiting on insurance to approve for it to take place here. We just ask for tons of prayer through this time especially for Ellie and her strength to get through this. Her spirits are up and down as she misses home and family.
