Ellie’s Got This
Donation protected

Hey! My name is Deanna and I’m Ellie’s mom!
As many of you know, Ellie was diagnosed in February of last year with osteosarcoma and ultimately NEEDED to have a life saving amputation. In August, she had a hemipelvectomy and has had a handful of follow up surgeries since. She has been through so much in the last year from scans, biopsies, in patient chemo treatments, being away from home/school/family and friends, major surgeries, prosthetic training and so so so much more! I wish I had the words to describe what our family has been through in the last year but I simply don’t. I can’t even begin to express the things we’ve seen, heard, and felt. A part of me wants to TRY to put it into words but a big part of me feels that THIS IS ELLIE’S STORY TO TELL… and SHE WILL. In her own way, at her own time… and she WILL change lives by doing so! We are at the beginning of navigating life, learning and adjusting to “new norms” while she is still healing and learning how to become independent again. We don’t know what the future holds but we do know that GOD knows! We trust and believe that there will be purpose for all of the pain! He will see us through the things he has brought us to! That HE will provide a way for any and every need we will have! Any donation received will go towards her continued care, help relieve some of the financial burden of becoming a one income household with daily necessities, travel expenses for follow up care at Mayo Clinic, renovations, any necessary ada accommodations, medical bills and sooo much more!
We are extremely thankful! Thankful for anyone and everyone who has had a hand in helping us along the way! No matter what it is! Please continue to keep Ellie and our family in your thoughts and prayers! Should you feel lead to donate to our family please know that we are forever grateful! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
