At the beginning of this year, our family received heartbreaking news — my brother and sister-in-law’s precious, baby girl, was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis or (LCH), a rare disease that has already brought so many doctor appointments, testing, uncertainty, and overwhelming challenges into their lives.

They are currently traveling to Iowa City each month for treatment stays, and doctors expect this process to continue for around 10-12 months. Along with the emotional weight of this journey comes the financial strain of gas, meals, medical expenses, missed work, and everyday bills continuing at home, which have quickly added up.

Anyone who knows them knows how loving, hardworking, and selfless they are. They would never ask for help themselves, which is why we are asking for them. We are starting this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the stress and allow them to focus on what matters most — their daughter’s care, healing, and comfort during this fight.
